JACKIE POORMAN
Caretaker
Jackie and her husband Hank, of 28 years, have worked as a team for various Texas ranches, managing and running the day-to-day operations. Both started off their career on a ranch near the Hill Country for 18 years and then went to South Texas for another three, before joining the MT7 team. They have spent most of their marriage, working and living on ranches, which uniquely qualifies her to incorporate the ranching way of life into the everyday execution and management of hospitality services. She oversees the operation of all buildings, executes the families’ wants and needs, and facilitates any event planning.
With God as Jackie’s leader, she has been blessed with two daughters, and a son in law. But her favorite role recently has become that of “Mema“ with the addition of their grandson. Her favorite past time is making new memories with her family, in any given circumstance. Jackie loves fishing, camping and all the outdoor adventure you can throw at her. She is grateful for the opportunity to be surrounded daily by Gods creation at the MT7 Ranch. She is lucky enough to be able to see the land through a child’s lens and in-turn creates the best memories.
