TY BARTOSKEWITZ
MT7 Ranch Manager
Ty leads the operational and capital improvement projects, wildlife and habitat management practices and outreach and education opportunities for MT7 Ranch. He serves as a Director of the Texas Wildlife Association and is a member of their Big Game Advisory Committee. Ty also serves on the Breckenridge Texas Economic Development board and the Texas Tech Ranch Management Program Advisory committee. He recently finished 11 years of service on the Texas Parks & Wildlife Private Lands Advisory Committee. Ty is an Official Measurer of the Boone and Crockett Club, Texas Big Game Awards Official scorer, and past President of the North Texas Buckskin Brigade.
Prior to joining MT7, Ty served as Technical Guidance and Private Lands Biologist for the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, as well as Wildlife Biologist for Terra Rosa Ranch and La Bandera Ranch. Ty was also part of the Drury Outdoors Pro Staff for 5 years and appeared on Dream Season 2, Bow Madness, and Wildlife Obsession TV shows.
Ty earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Range and Wildlife Management from Texas Tech University, and a Master of Science degree in Wildlife Management from Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Ty and his wife Melanie have been married for 20 years and have two children. Ty enjoys bowhunting, fly fishing and spending time with family.
